 Today starts with a prayer. First hour is optional. Shiney mam discussed about Blooms taxonomy- cognitive, affective and psychomotor domain- it's classes. Next hour is by Ancy mam. Mam distributed the answer sheets of test conducted last week. Third hour is by Joju sir, continued the discussion of media - merits and demerits. We were grouped into six and each of two group discussed about print media, social media and films. First two groups about print media. Next two group about social media and last two group about films. This session has ended at 12.30pm. After lunch break, the hour is general class. Maya mam discussed about the nature of Indian society. Various opinions are expressed by us. After the library hour which had spent on reading room, all of us together take part in social sweating (gardening) . Principal oficially inagruated by planting the sapling of cauliflower and others followed him.It was a good start towards the protection of nature by maintaining greenery. Also a good start for fresh vegetables for a healthy society. The unity of both teachers and us in this new start will surely make it a success.

 January 20, 2023 It's Friday. Let's go for a trip. Not a normal pleasure trip but a field trip. But field trip can also be a pleasure trip with a little bit memories.  All optional organized their field trips in places of their own choice. We planned the trip to 3 destinations- veli, zoologicalpark and museum. Our journey starts at 10 am from palayam and we went off to veli as 2 groups. One group with 2 members in two wheeler and rest in our mentor Mrs Shiney Jacob mam's car. We reached at our first destination at 10.30 am.  The Veli tourist Village is only 12 kms from the capital Thiruvanathapuram, and is a wonderful and relaxing escape from the city. There are many boating and picnicking opportunities to avail, a children's park with fooating cafe for family fun, speedboats and other water transport to rent for those with a spirit of adventure.  First we went for boating. Day 5 of teaching practice

 10 October, 2023 Reached school at 9:00 a.m. and marked the morning attendance. I had morning line duty from 9:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Day starts with a prayer. Today I had two classes. One in 9 D on the fifth hour and in 8 U on the 6th hour. On the 4th hour I went with malavika of English to manage her substitution class on 9 L. On the fifth hour I take class on 9 D on the topic "Vital capacity", "Respiration in other organisms" and "Respiration in plants". I had completed my two lesson plan using appropriate teaching aids such as ICT chart and activity cards. I grouped them, gave them activities and also gave notes and collected it in the end of my class. Then I went to 8 U and introduced a new chapter "Why classification" using ICT . Day 18 of teaching practice

 14 November, 2023 Today is November 14 , Children's day. A rally of small children was organised in the St. Mary's school. Reached school at 8.45 am and marked the morning attendance. Today was our 2 nd observation day. For the observation I arranged the class in 9 D on fourth hour. I already have hour on 5th and 6th period in 9 D and 8 U respectively. Shiney ma'am went for observation in Sruthy's and Sr ranit' s class on 3rd hour and came to my class on fourth hour and wrote down my positives and suggestions for improvement in the next class. I completed one lesson plan on the topic " Excretion in other organisms" of the chapter "Excretion to maintain homeostasis" in that hour. On the 5 th hour in the same class I taught the next topic and further completed another lesson plan on the topic " Excretion in plants",  thus completed that chapter.
