Day 5
16 December, 2022
Today is the last day of school induction. One week of back to school days as a teacher comes to an end. We reported on school at 8.15 am and marked the attendance of the last day. Like other days we got invigilation duty. I got the same class from day 2- 6C. Got a chance to see that students again and spend time with them. But the fact is that they became more naughty and talkative. If my memory was right when they see me they greeted me three times saying "Good morning teacher". May be they are joking but I feel happy. Exam starts at 9.45 am and 5th ,6th and 7th std had English, hindi, and Chemistry exams respectively. When the number of students increased the class became noisy. After finishing the exams within 10.30 they started to talk, play etc. I tried my best to keep under my control. A boy Abhishek from 5th std was out of control who was throwing pens at others, using bad words, dancing and also disturbing others. So I changed his seat 2 times and he calmed down. Unlike last two days, I strained (but I liked it) myself on controlling the 30 student. At 11.30 am after distributed the tags I left the class saying goodbyes.
One thing I understand is that invigilation is not much an easy task especially in case of boys. This 4 day invigilation is a new experience which should be experienced by all because more than in the classroom they became uncontrollable in the exam hall.
After the exam duty we went to cafeteria, then to allotted hall. After lunch we went to library and then to capture some beautiful moments. At 3.30 pm signed the last day attendance and clicked a photo with the principal sir. Also we meet the concerned teacher allotted to us- Vice principal. Saying goodbyes we left the school with the 5 days memories, bonding, different atmosphere and experience.
