Today was a special day with special occassion. We, the Natural Science batch of 2022-24 conducted our first assembly in the portico of the college. We started our assembly at 9.15 am in the presence of Principal, teachers and 1st year batch. We conducted and organized the assembly according to the programme chart. Started with a prayer by Sruthy and Sister Ranit. After that Arathy came forward for pledge and thought of the day was presented by Sr Ranit. Leeanda and I read the local and international news. Aleena with her sarcastic campus news grabbed the audience's attention. Devika was our ICT cordinator and also she compered the assembly. After this Principal sir officially inagruated our association name and logo "IZDIHAR"- flourish, bloom, be the shade for others. With the releasing of our association we also released our first association work which is a floral art of illustration named "FLORUS THEOPHILICUS" (VOL 1) comprising of 25 Angiosperm families distributes throughout the Mar Ivanios Vidyanagar. Our mentor Shiney mam presented this illustration to Principal.

As a symbol of maintaining a live environment we presented a mini terrarium to the Principal in the presence of our mam.

At last we distributed prizes for the winners of the competition conducted by our association. Principal sir distributed the prizes for slogan competition, star making competition and corner making competition. Also awarded Shehanaz of Social Science as she won the second prize for essay competition. Then invited Principal sir for principal's message. With the national Anthem assembly was dispersed.

We got a good feedback and opinions from the audience which strengthened our hard work and unity.
