Capacity building programme

 June 13, 2023

Today starts with a prayer. A Capacity building programme was organised as part of curriculum prescribed for semester 2. Thos was our 1st class in this semester. The programme starts with a small official function with the presence of Principal and teachers.

The class were taken by a Resource Person Jobi Kondoor, who is a Master Trainer Facilitator Loyala Extension Services and District Coordinator Childline tvpm. With a brief introduction he enter into the session of activities which test our concentration power. No one can stand aside from the session because sir focused to involve all the students and made them participate. 2 activities one individually and other one as group mainly focuses on concentration and the later one needs good communication skill also. But the common point is that both activities made a feel of stress earlier but when practice a number of times, our stress will dissappear.

After the activities sir gave some basic information using ppt presentation in stress management. At the end of session another activity was given which is heart touching. Sir gave us instruction and we act according to that. First we walked with our eyes closed and then when we stand still he gave instruction to remember the most happiest moment in our life and also the one who behind that moment. Then we gave a partner who is still unknown to enjoy that happiest moment with. Likewise he told us to remember the saddest or the most bad moment in our life which truly teared my eyes. Then sir gave a chance to imagine what can we gave in future to both people who made us  happy and sad.
It was a wonderful section which is unforgettable. All the feelings which we repressed had again made us feel sad and everyone become emotional. The session which has  started at 9.30 am ended at 1pm without any boring or gap. Truly it was a nice session.
